Before Midnight : A retelling of "Cinderella"

I have always loved fairytales, particularly the classics. Lots of magic, mystery and of course, romance. Which was why this book was absolutely PERFECT. It was the familiar story of Cinderella but still managed to be something entirely new and wonderful. I like the fact that it is re-told from Cinderella's point of view. It gives the famous character her own unique personality, so she doesn't just fit into the average everyday perfect princess mold. The other characters were well done and came to life in the story, my two favourites being Amelie and Niccolo. They made a funny and cute pair. Though, not all the of them were quite so nice. Cinderella's father is rather a piece of work, if it had been me going through that I doubt he would have walked away without something or another bleeding. All over though I would definitely recommend this book, especially towards teenage girls, it delivers :) There are a whole series of these re-vamped fairytales, I plan on starting a collection! ((Yay on first post!!!!))
